Over time, copper will develop a natural patina—if you want to keep that vibrant red look, hand-wash only with mild soap, avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool. To restore brightness: mix a teaspoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of salt, apply gently with a soft cloth or sponge, rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
